November Recap
Because posting in the moment can be overrated
How in the world is it already December?! I blinked and somehow we’re here; holiday lights, gift guides, and the slow-but-fast chaos that only December can bring. I adore this season, but truly… time needs to calm down. Still, November was full of little joys, so here are the things and places that filled my cup this past month.
Bone Broth Hot Chocolate. I have tried to be a bone broth for breakfast girlie, but my sweet tooth is too big and savory does not sound appetizing first thing in the AM. Enter this genius invention that is somehow insanely good and has 25g of protein!!!
I am a snack obsessed person. New seasonal snack at the endcap at the grocery store, yup I will buy it. My latest snack obsession as someone who is trying to eat healthier are these chips. Use code RILEY15
I am officially cleared to workout so I decided to try Sweatlab:54 after it popped up on my TikTok. Amazing addition to Long Island. I am not a low impact girlie, so I need the added heat feature. Trying to get my core back lol.
It’s rare to go out to eat and be genuinely blown away, but Au Cheval lived up to the hype. I went with coworkers last week, and I’m still dreaming about the chocolate cream pie.
I’m a homebody at heart, especially with two kids. When I was working 9–6, I said no to almost everything because I didn’t want to miss more time with them. Now on maternity leave, with full days together, I feel more comfortable saying yes to dinners and events and it’s been refreshing.
Archer’s age!!! I know the terrible twos are coming, but this age is pure magic. He narrates everything, loves to cuddle, and gives Callan the sweetest affection. I’m soaking it up.

A rested mother is an oxymoron. Motherhood is my greatest joy, but it also highlights every under-eye bag I’ve ever had. This concealed tinted eye cream has been saving me—it conceals, hydrates, and makes me look closer to rested than I feel.
I forgot how hard it is to dress babies. They are so tiny and squiggly so these onesies have been a game changer.
Air drying my hair, but elevated. While I learn to blow dry my hair (a WIP for many years now), I turn to this mousse to create the best air dried waves.
I am in a Pinterest renaissance. It even inspired the birthday cake I made recently—stressful in the moment, but I think it turned out pretty cute.
I used to hate sweats, but now I know it was because I was wearing the wrong pairs. I have been wearing these grey ones, black ones, and these cream ones on repeat and have reached the how to dress up sweatpants side of TikTok.
I am trying to romanticize Long Island right now. We may not have Erewhon, but we do have Rising Tides. I’m a sucker for a niche organic grocery store with prepared food and smoothies. Get the Morning Mojito smoothie.

New necklaces! I am going to St. Barths this winter and one of the things I love about resort dressing is the fun jewelry you can wear. I will be bringing this one and this one (code RILEYS20) and this one with me for sure.
I’ve had trouble falling back asleep at night after pumping so I’ve started taking magnesium again. This one is my absolute favorite as it has a sweet taste so hits my nighttime cravings
Sweater weather!!! The benefits of having a fall baby are being able to wear all the knits after. In particular, been wearing this one and this one and this one (size up!) on repeat.

Ilouity nursing tanks. I have no shame in breastfeeding anywhere, but I don’t need my stomach out for everyone to see right now lol. Love love love these.
Callan’s nursery, aka our third floor without a door, is slowly coming together. This rug has helped make it so much more cozy and doesn’t break the bank.
The salad recipe that never fails. If you want to impress some houseguests make them this.
I love a mindless TV show and this season of Secret Lives of Mormon Lives is the best. I did not love the first season, but now I am so hooked. I just started the new season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and will report back.
